Job Summary
The Senior Health Care Attorney will serve as one of the Firm’s internal subject matter experts by interpreting and applying a wide array of healthcare laws and regulations, with a particular focus on government health plan compliance and fraud & abuse laws.
This is a telework position. Ideally, the individual selected for this position will be located in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry or Will counties of Illinois for the duration of employment, but strong candidates in other locations will also be considered.

Physical/Mental Demands
Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to files and supplies; mobility to attend meetings and other work-related events; ability to sit for up to eight hours each day; ability to communicate clearly when using the telephone.
Requires sitting, reaching, bending, lifting, and twisting at times; moderate levels of stress.

Travel
The Senior Health Care Attorney position requires periodic domestic travel (frequency to be mutually agreed upon, but unlikely to exceed 25% of a full time schedule).

Hours
Initially ad hoc, as needed for client workflow. Hours are initially anticipated to be between 10 to 20 hours per week, with potential for transition to a salaried full time position.
Starting Hourly Rate
Commensurate with experience
Desired Start Date
As soon as possible, subject to completion of satisfactory background investigation.
