Lisa Chalem is an Associate at McClain & Canoy, LLC, concentrating her practice in information security and privacy, regulation, and transactions. Ms. Chalem reviews and evaluates changes in data privacy regulations and the resulting impact on compliance and corporate governance. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, U.S. private sector (CIPP/US)*.
Ms. Chalem’s experience is primarily in litigation for government agencies both in civil mental health cases and as an Assistant Public Guardian in juvenile court. She has also practiced in estate management and taught legal research and writing.
Ms. Chalem currently lives in the Chicago suburbs, but had the opportunity to live in London with her husband and three children for two years. She enjoys travel, reading, hiking and serving as a Commissioner for her local Park District.
